SoltPK Responsible
Gambling Guide

Gambling on SoltPK should always be entertainment — nothing more. This page explains the tools, resources and rules in place to help every player stay in control of their time, money and experience on the platform.

18+ Only — Or the higher minimum required by the operator/license jurisdiction. Local laws may restrict gambling.

Gambling is Entertainment,
Not a Financial Strategy

For the vast majority of people, online gaming and sports betting are enjoyable pastimes. Watching a PSL T20 match is more engaging when you have a modest stake on the outcome. A quick spin on a slot game can be a fun way to unwind. But gambling carries real financial risk, and for a minority of players, it can develop into a serious problem that affects finances, relationships and mental wellbeing.

SoltPK takes that reality seriously. This is not a page we are required to publish as a formality — responsible gambling is a genuine operating principle. The tools described here are built into the platform, not buried in settings. Our support team is trained to recognise problem gambling indicators, and self-exclusion requests are honoured immediately and without question.

Whether you are a player in Karachi keeping tabs on your weekly spend, a cricket fan in Lahore managing a PSL flutter, or a casino player in Islamabad — the same practical protections are available to everyone. No matter the city, no matter the device, responsible play is a right, not a feature.

Legal Notice: Pakistan has gambling restrictions including the Prevention of Gambling Act, 1977. SoltPK does not represent that online gambling is lawful for Pakistani residents. Nothing here is legal advice. Assess your own legal position before participating.

Quick Tool Access

All responsible gambling tools are accessible directly from your account dashboard under Account → Responsible Gambling. No support contact required to activate limits or time reminders.

For self-exclusion requests or permanent account closure, contact our support team via Live Chat or email. These actions are irreversible for the chosen exclusion period.

Adults Only — 18+ or Higher

SoltPK is strictly an adults-only platform. Access is permitted only to individuals who are at least 18 years of age — or the higher minimum age required by the Operator’s license jurisdiction, whichever is greater.

Every account undergoes KYC age verification before withdrawals are processed. Where SoltPK identifies that a minor may have accessed the platform, the account is suspended immediately and all balances are held pending review. We do not knowingly collect data from or provide services to anyone under the applicable minimum age.

Local laws in Pakistan may impose additional or different restrictions on gambling participation. The minimum age requirement under our licensing terms does not override any stricter local legal requirement. You are solely responsible for ensuring your participation complies with the law in your area.

Parental Controls Reminder: If you share a device with younger family members, please ensure your SoltPK account is secured with a strong password and two-factor authentication. Log out of your account after each session. Pakistan’s internet environment means many families share devices — a few simple steps protect underage family members from accidental access.

  • Age is verified through government-issued identification (CNIC, passport or equivalent) during the KYC process.
  • Accounts that fail age verification are suspended immediately with balances returned via the original deposit method.
  • Winnings derived from an account that fails age verification are not payable and will be forfeited.
  • SoltPK does not target advertising or promotional communications at individuals under the minimum age.
  • Suspected underage access should be reported immediately to [email protected].

Responsible Gambling Tools

Six practical controls, all accessible from your account dashboard — no support contact required to activate them.

Deposit Limits

Set a maximum deposit amount per day, week or month. Once a limit is in place, it cannot be increased instantly — a mandatory 24-hour cooling-off period applies to any upward revision. Decreases take effect immediately.

Loss Limits

Cap the total net losses your account can incur in a defined period — daily, weekly or monthly. When the limit is reached, further real-money play is blocked for the remainder of that period regardless of available balance.

Session Time Limits

Set a maximum session duration. When the time is up, you are automatically logged out and cannot resume play until the defined period has elapsed. Paired with reality check notifications, these limits make unconscious play visible.

Reality Check Notifications

Enable pop-up reminders at intervals you choose — every 30, 60 or 120 minutes. Each notification displays how long you have been in session and your net profit or loss, then prompts you to continue or stop.

Cool-Off Periods

Take a short break from the platform — 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days — without the permanence of full self-exclusion. During a cool-off period, your account is suspended for real-money play. Promotional communications are also paused.

Self-Exclusion

Permanently or temporarily exclude yourself from the platform for a defined period of your choice — from 6 months to indefinitely. Self-exclusion is honoured immediately. Re-registration is blocked during any active exclusion period.

Understanding Your Limits

Setting the right limits before you start playing — not after a loss — is one of the most effective responsible gambling behaviours. Here is how each limit type works in practice.

Daily Deposit Limit

The maximum amount you can deposit across a 24-hour rolling window. Recommended starting point: a figure you would be comfortable losing in a single day.

Weekly Deposit Limit

Caps total deposits over a 7-day rolling period. Useful if your daily habits are variable but your weekly entertainment budget is fixed.

Monthly Deposit Limit

Useful for aligning your gaming spend with your monthly budget in PKR. Consider your disposable income — funds genuinely available after essential expenses — when setting this figure.

Daily Loss Limit

Stops real-money play once your net losses for the day hit the limit. Protects against chasing losses — one of the most common pathways to problem gambling.

Daily Time Limit

Caps the total minutes or hours you can be logged in and playing per day. Useful for players who lose track of time during evening play after a PSL match or live casino session.

Wager Limit

Sets a ceiling on the maximum stake amount per single bet or spin. Prevents high-stakes single events from causing disproportionate financial harm in a short period.

Cooling-Off Rule: Any request to increase a deposit, loss or time limit is subject to a mandatory 24-hour waiting period before the increase takes effect. This prevents impulsive decisions during play from overriding limits set in a calmer state. Decreasing a limit takes effect immediately.

How to Self-Exclude from SoltPK

Self-exclusion is the strongest tool available on the platform. The process takes minutes and is irreversible for the chosen period.

01
Log In

Sign in to your SoltPK account from any device — mobile browser, desktop or app.

02
Go to Account Settings

Navigate to Account → Responsible Gambling in the main menu or account dropdown.

03
Select Exclusion Period

Choose a duration: 6 months, 1 year, 5 years or permanent. Shorter options activate a cool-off instead.

04
Confirm

Confirm your choice. Self-exclusion activates immediately. You will receive an email confirmation.

05
Need Help?

If you cannot access your account, contact support via Live Chat or email and we will action it manually.

During Exclusion: Your account will be inaccessible for real-money play. Promotional emails and bonus notifications are suspended. Any verified real-money balance at the time of exclusion will be returned to you via your verified payment method. Re-registration attempts will be detected and blocked.

Signs of Problem Gambling

Problem gambling can develop gradually and is not always obvious until significant harm has occurred. The following are common warning indicators. If several of these apply to you or someone you know, consider using our self-exclusion tool or seeking professional support.

  • Spending more money than you intended, or more than you can afford to lose.
  • Chasing losses — continuing to gamble to try to recover money already lost.
  • Gambling for longer sessions than planned, missing sleep or daily responsibilities.
  • Lying to family members or friends about the extent of your gambling activity.
  • Borrowing money, selling assets or missing bills to fund gambling.
  • Feeling irritable, anxious or depressed when not gambling or when trying to stop.
  • Gambling as a way to escape from stress, personal problems or low mood.
  • Needing to gamble with increasing amounts of money to achieve the same excitement.

Self-Assessment Questions

Consider each of the following questions honestly. If you answer “yes” to three or more, we strongly recommend using the self-exclusion tool or contacting our support team.

Q1 Have you ever felt the need to bet more and more money to get the same feeling of excitement?
Q2 Have you ever had to lie to people important to you about how much you gamble?
Q3 Have you ever felt restless or irritable when trying to cut down or stop gambling?
Q4 Have you ever gambled as a way of escaping problems or relieving feelings of helplessness, guilt, anxiety or depression?
Q5 After losing money gambling, have you often returned another day to try to win back what you lost?
Q6 Has gambling ever caused problems in your relationships, work or financial situation?

Principles of Responsible Play

These habits help maintain a healthy relationship with gambling and keep the experience enjoyable over the long term.

Set a Budget Before You Play

Decide exactly how much you can afford to lose before you open the platform. Express that figure in PKR — for example, Rs 500 for a Friday evening PSL match — and treat it as an entertainment cost, like a cinema ticket. When it is gone, you stop.

Never Chase Your Losses

Chasing losses — depositing more in the hope of winning back what you have already lost — is one of the most common and most dangerous patterns in problem gambling. A losing session is a losing session. Walk away and return with a fresh budget another time.

Take Regular Breaks

Set session time limits and use reality check notifications. Step away from the screen at regular intervals — especially during long live casino sessions or late-night cricket betting. Physical breaks reset your decision-making perspective.
